Manufacturer of Pre Cast or Precast Swimming Pool Coping since 1965. We are located in the small town of Thurmont, nestled in the foothills of the famous Catoctin Mountains, about an hour west of both Baltimore MD and Washington, DC.

We produce all our Precast Swimming Pool coping at our plant in Thurmont, and generally stock over 20,000 stones. Our inventory consists of Straights and Radius of various widths and thickness. All inventory stocked is white.

Our Pre-cast Pool Coping Stones have been used in many Swimming pool projects over the years i.e. YMCA Camps, Country Clubs, Private Swim Clubs, Residential, Institutional, Resorts, Hotels and Motels.

Gunite, Shot Crete, Vinyl, and Fiberglass swimming pools can all use our products.

Federal Stone produces a Precast Slotted Gutter stone that is used by many price conscious consumers. These stones are used in a competition swim pool to create a "fast" swimming pool. 

Our Raised Safety Edge, which is Pre Cast,  is still by far "THE WORLD'S SAFEST POOL EDGE". It is available in many different radius or radii. For those consumers wanting a more contemporary look or require the safety of an automatic swimming pool cover, we also cast several different Bullnose profiles. These stones are flat on top and have a "180 degree round over" on the pool side. For Raised Wall (such as Spas or retaining walls) we offer Double Bullnose Stones. Both the SBN and the DBN are available in radius.
