Q: How long
does it take to manufacturer and install a fiberglass
pool?
A: After the order is placed the
pool can be manufactured in about two weeks; once the
pool reaches its final destination it can be ready for
enjoyment in 3 to 5 days, depending on how elaborate the
deck work is.
Q: Does it matter what time of
year it is to install a fiberglass pool?
A: Fiberglass pools can be
installed any time of the year as long as the ground
isn’t frozen.
Q: What are some of the most
popular reasons to install a pool?
A: Some reasons include
aesthetics, recreation, entertainment, physical fitness,
and improving the overall quality of life.
Q: Are there any risks when
installing a pool?
A: Your pool should be installed
by a properly trained builder who has references of
other jobs. In addition, you should make sure prior to
the installation, that the pool is placed in the proper
location to take advantage of the sun and view from your
home. Something that some people do not consider when
deciding to put a pool in their backyard is the impact
that the pool will have on your life – your backyard
could become the gathering spot in the neighborhood.
Q: Do fiberglass pools pop out of
the ground?
A: As long as your fiberglass
pool remains full of water it will NEVER pop out of the
ground.
Q: Are concrete pools stronger
than fiberglass pools?
A: No, fiberglass pools are 17
times stronger and more flexible than concrete or
gunite.
Q: Are fiberglass pools easy to
maintain?
A: Yes, Viking Pools are
virtually maintenance free. On average, a homeowner can
save up to $225.00 per month on their Viking Pool
maintenance versus other types of pools. In-floor
cleaning systems can also be installed to make cleaning
even more manageable.
Q: What are the advantages of
fiberglass pools having a smooth surface?
A: One advantage is that algae
will grow on porous surfaces like that of a concrete
pool. The non-porous surface of a fiberglass pool will
not scrap your skin or tear your swim suites as a
concrete pool would.
Q: Can salt water be used in a
fiberglass pool?
A: Absolutely! Salt water
swimming pools have become increasingly popular. Jandy
offers a salt chlorinator system that we recommend.

A: Swimming pools make the home
more attractive to the buyer and can increase the value
of your home/property.

last?
A: Viking Pools come with a
lifetime warranty.
Q: If a repair is needed will it
