While this system was

be used with any pool, with water being added on an

Automatic pH Controller
for
Pools up to 60,000 gallons
Lowering the pH involves adding muriatic
acid or sodium bisulfate. Otherwise, if the pH gets above 7.8,
chlorine becomes less effective and cloudy water and calcium scaling
can be the result. The use of any salt chlorine generator will
produce a strongly alkaline chemical (very high pH), as a by product
of the chlorine production. The more chlorine you produce, the
more acid will have to be added or else the pH will rise to
unacceptable levels. The pH Controller
maintains an optimum pH, allowing chlorine to better perform its
sanitizing role.High pH is a
leading contributor to cloudy water problems!
